Ordered a 14oz A5 BMS10+ ribeye and it ended up being awesome. 14 oz was plenty for 2 people. While UPS did deliver my order to the wrong house (someone got a lucky surprise) Alpine and UPS were super quick in getting a replacement to me (was entirely a UPS issue and not on Alpine). It was well packaged and still frozen solid on my doorstep. Quality was amazing, as seen in the pictures. I sliced the steak in strips and cooked to medium rare in a super hot stainless steel pan which turned out great. Pictured next to the A5 is a couple Australian wagyus from Alpine which were also great but more of a traditional steak.

I was honestly shocked when I saw the steak, the pictures look beautiful and are very accurate. But let me tell you it does not do this steak justice. In person this steak was even more beautiful and the color held up beautiful in shipping. My mother who received said it wasn’t thawed at all and we live in a hotter area! The steak was BMS 12 and I’m honestly super happy couldn’t have asked for better. I will definitely be using alpine butcher again this was a phenomenal experience.
Perfect packaging. Was like Christmas morning when these 2 ribeyes arrived. A 3/4 lb ribeye filled up 3 adults. We grilled in on a Blackstone to barely medium rare, cut into strips, salted and ate. Out of this world flavor. Very worth the price! If you are thinking about it, just go ahead and order one at least for the experience!
I’ve never had such a good steak. 10/10 I would recommend everyone try this before they perish. Amazing. The marbling was beautiful and it tasted even better. Will definitely purchase again. High temp sear and it was game over

I cannot lie, it was the best experience I’ve had. I was skeptical about its buttery texture every time I read about it. I researched the best way to cook it, and the best way to season it, and I followed the basic principles. I cannot tell you how Rich and delicious that steak was. It's amazing in small amounts because it is so rich. The fat is a different kind of fat. It is not gelatinous on your pallet. The flavor is amazing!
